Volunteer Opportunities

Several of our programs depend upon the commitment and generosity of volunteers. For example, our New Pathways Shelter Program for teens recruits diverse host families who provide nurturing homes and act as resources and mentors for the youths placed in their homes.

Please be aware that, due to privacy considerations as well as the sensitivity of the BCMHC's work, volunteers are unlikely to directly interact with clients without appropriate education and training.  There are, however, frequent opportunities to assist the staff in maintaing the substantial number of programs at BCMHC.
