Capital Project

For 50 years, BCMHC has been the home that neighbors can turn to in times of crisis.  Our original facility, designed in 1962 to treat 600 clients, served 6,000 clients in 2002.  To ensure that we could meet the growing demand for mental health care, BCMHC's Board of Directors purchased the building next to our original facility.  The Center began a major renovation plan to double our physical plant, adding 14 counseling rooms, an urgent care area, dedicated community outreach offices, and increased access for people with disabilities.

In 2008, the Center completed this Capital Project.  Thanks to the generosity of friends and neighbors in our community, we successfully raised $2.5 million to pay for the costs of this major renovation.
