Natalia Nodiff
Young Adult Peer Mentor – M-PATH
Natalia Nodiff is a young adult peer mentor at M-Path, where she works alongside the team with clients using her lived experience to provide insight and guidance. While most professionals understand psychosis from the outside, she knows what it is like to go through it first-hand.
As a teenager, she navigated the transformative experience of psychosis, which shifted her understanding of reality, self, and meaning. Despite being told by a professional she might not attend college, live independently, or work, she has defied these expectations. She attended college with a focus in art and psychology, lives independently, and has worked for over a decade, including valuable experience in elder care.
She believes that those who have experienced psychosis can succeed and have much to offer the world. Her personal journey enables her to help others navigate both the experience of psychosis and the mental health system.
She actively participates in Boston’s Recovery Learning Center communities and has led peer meditation groups. She is committed to sharing her story to combat stigma, educate others, and bring hope to those who are suffering. In her spare time, Natalia is an accomplished theremin player and published writer who enjoys creating art and practicing meditation.
