BRYT National Convening: It’s Time to Lead with Mental Health and Equity in Mind

Back to Events
Date: March 16, 2021
Time: 1:00 pm  to  2:00 pm

Join educators, school leaders, policymakers, and funders from across the country for this special hour-long convening exploring how we move forward with mental health and equity at the fore.

Educators and school communities are called on daily, playing a critical role in managing the pandemic’s impact on children. What can the learnings of the past year teach us about caring for our students and ourselves? How can developments in the understanding of neurobiology, trauma, and resilience inform and strengthen our work in the days and months ahead?

Featuring Bruce D. Perry, M.D., Ph.D., world-renowned teacher, clinician, and researcher on brain development and children’s trauma. Author of the forthcoming book What Happened to You? Conversations on Trauma, Resilience, and Healing, co-authored with Oprah Winfrey (2021).

Sponsored by BRYT, a program of The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health and the Ruderman Family Foundation.
