Sebastián Marcos Hernández-Del Valle, M.S., Clinical Fellow

Sebastián Marcos Hernández-Del Valle, M.S., is a Clinical Fellow at the CEDAR Clinic and the ASPIRE Clinic with clinical appointments at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Massachusetts Mental Health Center (HMS/BIDMC/MMHC). He conducts psychological evaluations and delivers evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family modalities, addressing the needs of both individuals and their families.

Clinical Interests: Sebastián is dedicated to advancing mental health equity for systemically underserved groups, with a focus on LGBTQIA communities, individuals presenting substance use-related concerns, justice-involved populations, and people navigating experiences related to psychosis. With training in health psychology, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), third-wave approaches like ACT and DBT, and relational frameworks, he offers support through an integrative, context-sensitive, and recovery-oriented lens.

Academic: Sebastián earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Ana G. Méndez University and a master’s in clinical psychology from Carlos Albizu University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Carlos Albizu University’s Ph.D. program in clinical psychology and serves as a Clinical Fellow completing his predoctoral internship at HMS/BIDMC/MMHC, where he is deepening his expertise in clinical high-risk and first-episode psychosis.
