Amanda Weber, Ph.D.

Director

Amanda M. Weber, Ph.D. (they/them) is a licensed psychologist and Director of the Early Psychosis Service Hub at The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health. In this role, Dr. Weber oversees CEDAR and MPATH and leads the development and expansion of coordinated specialty care for youth and young adults experiencing early psychosis. Under their leadership, the Hub has expanded access to early identification, assessment, and treatment services, including the recent launch of the Momentum coaching program.

Dr. Weber oversees multiple state and federal grant initiatives and collaborates with the M3P Learning Health Care System to advance data-informed, equity-centered early psychosis care across Massachusetts. They provide training and consultation on early psychosis statewide, working with CHRP programs to strengthen clinical capacity and systems coordination.

Clinically, Dr. Weber specializes in the assessment and treatment of individuals experiencing psychosis-spectrum symptoms and those at clinical high risk. Their work emphasizes the role of racial identity, racial trauma, and acculturation stress in shaping symptom expression and engagement in care.

Dr. Weber is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. They earned their bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Alma College, their master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University, and their doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. They completed their predoctoral internship at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and their postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Boston Healthcare System.
