Women's Fund

As a part of the Fiftieth Anniversary Campaign, the Brookline Community Mental Health Center is proud to launch the Women's Fund.

ABOUT THE WOMEN'S FUND

WHAT IT DOES:

Provides comprehensive services to Greater Boston women, from teenage girls to retired seniors.

SUPPORTING THE WOMEN'S FUND WILL:

  • Treat mental illness
  • Reduce risk
  • Prevent violence
  • Build community

WHY IT'S NEEDED:

  • Every hour, 7 women turn to the Center for mental health care.
  • 48% are victims of abuse or violence.
  • Last year, the Center provided 8,500 free or reduced fee visits to low-income women.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Become a seed investor in The Women's Fund, a first of its kind program dedicated to ensuring that women have the mental health services they need, when they need them, regardless of ability to pay.

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

  • $1,200:  Provides 12 free care visits
  • $2,500:  Funds 50 hours of outreach
  • $5,000:  Supports 33 group sessions for women with substance abuse issues

BENEFITS:

Investors at all levels of The Women's Fund will receive a range of benefits, including:

  • Leadership pin
  • Public recognition (events and marketing materials)
  • Invitations to two Brown Bag Breakfasts on women's issues, the annual VIP Women's Fund Reception, Women's Fund Forum, and Center Briefing by Directors.
