Social Skills Groups for Children with Autism
Autism is one of the fastest growing developmental disabilities facing Americans today. While much remains unkown about it, we do know that the lifelong cost of care can be reduced by two thirds with early diagnosis and intervention. For that reason, the Center recently launched Brookline's first group program for children with autistic disorders ages 5-9 years old. The groups help children develop the social skills necessary to thrive in their school and home environments.
